January 2007 TETAC Seminars
Information is in the mail to TETAC members about the annual January TETAC seminars. The seminars will be held January 23rd at the North Raleigh Hilton in conjunction with the North Carolina Turfgrass Conference & Show. The Turfgrass Council of North Carolina has invited TETAC Seminar participants to visit the Turfgrass Show free of charge.
Seminars being offered this year are:
9am-12pm: Diesel Engine Maint. (brought to you by Engine Power Source)
Comprehensive info on preventative maintenance, covering problems inclusive to diesel engines, diagnostic and repair problems and info on alternative fuel.
1-4pm: Hydraulics: A to Z (brought to you by Jacobsen)
Common issues related to hydraulic systems, information on filtration and best management practices. Diagnositc and repair issues will also be addressed.
2006 TETAC Conference
Location: HORRY-GEORGETOWN TECHNICAL COLLEGE, Nov. 13-16
TETAC is excited to offer educational opportunities at the 2006 TETAC Conference. Open to ALL technicians, you will be able to attend these Seminars for all 3 days without ever repeating a class. An AWESOME line up of presenters is scheduled this year and we know you’ll leave Horry-Georgetown with a new sense of knowledge and passion for your profession!
November 14th though the 17th technicians from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and even Alabama converged on Myrtle Beach for our 3rd annual educational seminar series. Representative from Jacobsen Textron, John Deere, Toro, as well as National Welders, Express Duel and Foley. And it is with gratitude that TETAC would like to thank all our presenters for their time and talent in helping to make our fourth year our must successful yet.
At our annual meeting once again Ben Pinkney awarded a scholarship on behalf of TETAC to a Horry Georgetown student, Ben Trent, a 2nd year student at the school.

that were offered Outgoing president Dale Rogers was presented with a plaque of appreciation for his service to the organization. Thanks again Dale for all you did this past year as well as your years of service on the board. The much awaited Turf Tech of the year was presented by Mike Craft incoming president to Butch Trogda. Butch was given a plaque as well as a check for $500. Butch was nominated by Vance Wicker a local distribute whose letter of recommendation stated how Butch’s professionalism and integrity had impressed him immensely. Congratulations once again Butch.
