TETAC Seeking Nominations
2007 REX FLOYD AWARD: Turf Tech of the Year

Superintendents are invited to submit a one- or two-paragraph statement explaining why their equipment technician should receive the award. The winner will be announced in November at the 2007 TETAC Conference, which is held in conjunction with the annual CGCSA Conference and Trade Show in Myrtle Beach.

The award was named after Rex Floyd, who served as CGCSA president in 2001 and acts as an adviser to TETAC. Floyd, who was a golf course superintendent for 15 years, spent his first five years in the golf business as a golf course mechanic. He now works as a territorial sales manager for the Jacobsen Division of Textron, Inc. in Charlotte.

Nominations for the Rex Floyd Award should be mailed to TETAC, 704 Bethesda Avenue, Aberdeen, NC 28315 or e-mailed to tetac1@aol.com
